Mel adored his family and loved to travel. He was everybody’s guy. He loved spending time with his family. His relationship with his parents and siblings was at the center of his heart. “Number 1”, as he was affectionately called by his siblings, was a testament of loyalty, commitment, and faithfulness. He often reminded us that time was running out, and that it was time to get right with God. He taught us not to put off today for tomorrow, and if we were going to do something, we needed to do it without delay.
